about me

my story

I became a therapist because I believe in the transformative power of therapy—both through my own journey of self-discovery and growth, and how much my relationship with my partner improved once we reached out for support. I’m passionate about supporting others, bring many decades of life experience, and know first-hand the courage it takes to reach out for help.

The difference therapy made in my life inspired me to leave a successful career as a communications professional in the entertainment and tech industries and pursue a path that felt more aligned with my heart. Along the way, my love of yoga led me to teach the practice, deepening my respect for the interconnectedness of mind, body, heart, and spirit. This holistic perspective continues to inform and shape my approach to therapy today.

education

I hold a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies where I studied East-West approaches to psychotherapy, and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from UCLA.

I completed my graduate training at the Integral Counseling Center at Church Street, a community clinic located in San Francisco.
