therapy for individuals
Sometimes people come to therapy simply to explore themselves, but more often they come because they are struggling.
something feels hard
Perhaps you…
have a tough ‘inner critic’ that just won’t let up
struggle with anxiety and can’t find relief — anywhere
find yourself stuck in a pattern that you just can’t seem to change no matter how hard you try
experience crippling self-doubt that prevents you from moving forward
are navigating a time of transition or change that feels really hard
you want to heal strained relationships with your partner, family, friends or other important people in your life
OR maybe it’s a combination of these things causing you pain…
feeling better is possible
Often our problems are the tip of something deeper — a way that the past continues to live within us, keeping us locked in unconscious patterns that affect the quality of our life in the present.
I’ll help you explore your experience, bringing gentle curiosity and understanding to the places in which you struggle, which can help you relate to yourself in empowering, new ways. We’ll also be sure that you have practical tools and resources to support you on your path.
I’ll be with you every step of the way
Whether we meet in-person or online, our sessions will feel like more of a dialogue than a one sided conversation, and while therapy requires commitment and work, it can also be lighthearted — and at times even fun (really!) I believe that celebrating what is good and what makes you happy is equally important to growth and change as is addressing your challenges.
Though our work, you’ll develop greater self-awareness and transform self-limiting beliefs, making it easier to navigate challenges, move past stuck points and improve your relationships, including the most important one of all — the relationship you have with yourself.
issues I help people explore include:

Perfectionism
Self-doubt & the ‘inner critic’
